Last updated: June 9, 2026
Phares Auto Mobile is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (R.S.Q. c. P-39.1, as amended by Law 25). This policy explains what information we collect, why, with whom it may be shared, and how to exercise your rights.
1. Person in charge of personal information protection
In accordance with section 3.1 of Law 25, Phares Auto Mobile has designated a Person in charge of personal information protection (RPRP).
You can reach this person by email at info@leroiduphare.ca or by phone at +1 438-367-8248 for any question about this policy, to exercise your rights, or to report a confidentiality incident.
2. Information we collect
When you fill out a booking or out-of-zone request form, we collect: full name, phone number, postal code or city, vehicle information, plan choice, and promo code if applicable. If you accept advertising measurement, certain contact details may be hashed before being sent to Google Ads to measure enhanced conversions.
When you visit our website we automatically collect technical data: IP address, device type, pages visited, visit duration, referrer, advertising click identifiers (gclid, fbclid). This data may identify you indirectly.
3. Purposes of collection
We use your information only to:
• confirm and deliver your appointment (reminders, follow-up, changes); • invoice you for the service; • improve our website and measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns; • prevent fraudulent or abusive submissions; • comply with our legal and tax obligations.
4. Means of collection
Information is collected through the following means:
• secure web forms on our site; • cookies and advertising measurement tags (Google Ads, Meta Pixel); • cookieless analytics tools (Umami, Rybbit); • server logs; • confirmation emails and notifications.
5. Sharing with third parties
We share certain information with the following categories of third parties, only for the purposes described above:

We never sell your personal information.
6. Transfers outside Quebec
Some of these third parties — notably Google and Meta — host their servers in the United States. In accordance with section 17 of Law 25, before any transfer outside Quebec we assess privacy-related factors and sign contractual commitments (standard clauses) with these providers to ensure an adequate level of protection.
7. Retention and destruction
We keep your information only as long as strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected:
• booking data: 24 months after the service (follow-up, warranty, support); • technical browsing data: 14 months maximum; • accounting records: 6 years (tax obligation).
Once these periods have elapsed, the information is destroyed or anonymized in accordance with section 23 of Law 25.

9. Your rights
Under sections 27 to 28.1 and 8.1 of Law 25, you have the following rights:
• access to the information about you that we hold; • rectification of any inaccurate, incomplete, or out-of-date information; • withdrawal of consent at any time, free of charge; • portability: receiving your information in a structured, commonly used technological format; • deactivation of identification, location, or profiling functions; • submission of observations on the processing of your information; • de-indexing or cessation of dissemination of information about you.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information: HTTPS encryption, access control, hosting with reputable providers, anti-bot protection.
In the event of a confidentiality incident creating a risk of serious injury, we will notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and the affected persons without delay, in accordance with section 3.5 of Law 25.
12. Policy updates
